Lyndon Green Primary, Birmingham |
February and March were super-busy months on the school visit scene.
I was on the road so much I hardly had time to unpack my bags. There were some early mornings and long drives (including being stopped by a policeman right outside the school gates for a faulty headlight!) and several hotel breakfasts. There were lots of amazing World Book Day costumes too.
Here are the fantastic schools I visited along the way . . .
St Faith's School, Cambridge
Lyndon Green Junior School, Birmingham
St John's College School, Cambridge
Thorley Hill Primary School, Bishops Stortford,
Kensington Community Primary School, Liverpool
North Kidlington Primary School
Litcham School, Norfolk
The Perse Preparatory School, Cambridge
St John Rigby Catholic Primary School, Bedford
Thorpe House School, Gerrards Cross
Howard Junior School, Kings Lynn, Norfolk
A massive thank you to all the pupils who joined in with the talks and workshops and made them so much fun with your enthusiasm and creativity, to the librarians, teachers and teaching assistants who put so much work and time into organising the visits and let me invade their classrooms, the dinner ladies who made sure I was fed and the school office staff who kept everything on track.
Here's a gallery of some highlights . . . in no particular order
